DIRECTIONS
Pick and choose whatever ingredients you want to include. Go crazy. Mix it up. Be creative. Have Fun!
Hobo Dinners on the Grill
Preheat the grill to 400 degrees. Lay the foil packet directly on the grill grates. Lower the grill’s cover and cook for 35-40 minutes.
Hobo Dinners on a Campfire (Recommended)
If you’re planning to cook these over the fire, consider placing a cabbage leaf on the bottom of the packet. The cabbage isn’t for eating, but it helps prevent the outer edges from burning before the center is done.
This recipe works best on a campfire that doesn’t have a lot of active flames and is mostly hot coals. Lay the foil packet directly on the coals and cook for 20-25 minutes.
Hobo Dinners in the Oven
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place the foil packets in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes or until beef registers 165 degrees.
Bon appetit,
